Claude 5.5: Opus, Sonnet and Haiku
A new family of models. Opus 5.5 is for ambitious work like agentic coding and computer use. Sonnet 5.5 is faster and cheaper, built for everyday tasks. Haiku 5.5 is the small, fast one for quick, high-volume jobs like summaries.

Docs, slides, designs and dashboards in any chat
Ask for one in any conversation, or pick Output in the message box and choose a template. Docs, Slides and Design are out of beta. Live dashboards, which stay current as your data changes, are in beta on paid plans.
Claude Code Projects (beta)
A coordinator splits your goal into threads that run in parallel, and the Overview shows every thread at once. You can open any thread and steer it, even from your phone. It's a public beta rolling out on Pro and Max.
The wrap-up allowance
When you hit your five-hour limit in Claude Code, a small, capped amount of extra usage lets it finish the step it's on. You'll see "Usage limit reached · wrapping up".

Mods for Claude Code
Mods are small TypeScript functions that change how Claude Code works. They can add your own commands (the tutorial builds a /tally command) and panels, like one that charts how full your context window is.
Claude on CarPlay
Anthropic's Oct 16 recap says Claude is on CarPlay, so you can think out loud on your commute. Anthropic hasn't published a separate CarPlay page yet. The voice mode guide covers talking to Claude out loud.

Claude in Google Docs, Sheets and Slides (beta)
Claude works in a sidebar inside Docs, Sheets and Slides, reading and editing the file you have open. It's a public beta on all paid plans.

For your business: if your team already works in Google Docs and Sheets, start with the Google beta. It puts Claude inside the files you use every day.
